Terel Marshburn '15, MBA '18
Chemung County Program Manager
Terel Marshburn is the Chemung County Program Manager, for IncubatorWorks in Elmira, New York. They help and teach small, local businesses and entrepreneurs how to thrive in the business and entrepreneurship world.
Since graduating from Alfred University, Terel has been actively involved with Collegiate Pitch Competitions (AHA! and 607 Soaring). He teaches their business plan class, which is part two to the Co. Starters course they also teach. Terel manages the Makerspace in Elmira. Previously he was the Director of Downtown Operations and Placemaking at the Downtown Ithaca Alliance.
During his time at Alfred University, he was a Track and Field athlete and Athletic department, facilities, and events extraordinaire. Outside of work he enjoys youth mentorship (middle school to college students), sports and DIY projects. Terel is an avid gamer and is the proud dad of his giant 8-year-old son.
Terel earned a bachelor’s degree in athletic training in 2015 and an MBA in 2018, both from Alfred University.
